Cirque!

So, Cirque was AMAZING!!!!! I absolutely loved it. I saw Saltimbanco. My favorite part was the Mime Clown dude. He was Hilarious! And then the Russian swing and Chinese polls. The duo trapeze artists were impressive, but I didn't actually enjoy their performance.

Numb3rs

I am thoroughly enjoying a show called Numb3rs right now, and when asked why I was so into this show, I thought for a bit and gave the answer, "The Character moments" The characters.

Don, Alan, Amita, Larry, Megan, David, Colby, and of course, Charlie. All of these characters seem so real. You can tell that off-camera they really like each other. There's an instant chemistry between the Eppes men especially from episode 1. Every episode, I don't focus on the case, I focus on how Don, and Charlie react to both it, and each other. Then I focus on the case. I don't rewatch it because I want to see them catch the bad guy, I rewatch to see Charlie freeze when his math got his brother shot. And when Don realizes how much he really loves his brother. Or Alan teaching Charlie how to play golf. Amita and Charlie in the car together. Larry and his constant moving around. Megan and her issues with her father. Colby turning out to be a bad guy, and then becoming a triple. David's reaction to being betrayed by Colby. This is why I watch Numb3rs.

La de da de da

So, I havn't really blogged much recently, been REALLY busy. Holidays and all that. Not to mention the book *insert dramatic music here*. It is...... coming along I guess. I'm partway through chapter 3. They still arn't talking. My other projects are coming along nicely though. Winged experiments is now at part. 12. I'm hoping to have it done by my birthday(But knowing me it probably won't be done until July). I made a nice little fanfic last week, not Stargate though, Firefly. I was watching the Pilot and saw this little scene between Simon and River that's probably about.... a minute long, if that, and I saw that there was a lot more going on than what was being said. So, I broke out the laptop and did this little bit, written from Simon's point of view.

Astonished, Jayne let go of me; probably to get a better look at her. I stood there for a moment, frozen. She made small whimpering sounds that came out like small screams and I ran to her desperately; nobody made any move to stop me. I dropped to my knees, “River.” I said, reaching out with trembling hands.

She looked away from my face and seemed to freak out even more, making more noises that made her sound like she was in pain, “Its okay.” I told her, trying to calm her down, “It’s okay I’m here.” I looked at her face, hoping to see the little sister that I loved.

She trembled and her eyes flickered to my face, “Simon.” She whispered, and as the trembling stopped I let myself believe for a moment that the information had been wrong. She was perfectly fine, just a little unstable from being woken up from cryo too early. We were going to be together again, everything would be fine.

But then my hopes were dashed, she started to shake even worse than before, “Simon,” She whined before breaking eye contact and looking around wildly, “They talk to me, they want me to talk-” I nearly cried as she began to rant, just like they had said she would. My little sister was broken, her body was there, and obviously parts of her mind, but she would probably never come back in one piece. My heart broke at the sight of her, sitting there, trembling and ranting like a madwomen.

I couldn’t believe that though, “They’re gone.” I said, then trying to convince myself just as much as I was trying to convince her, “They’re gone. They’re gone, we’re safe now. We’re safe, we’re safe.” Now I was ranting, repeating things over and over, I pulled her close, “Come here.” I whispered trying to stop the shaking as she trembled in fear. She began to gasp and make whimpering sounds again, but there weren’t so loud anymore.

“What the hell is this?” asked the Captain, and I was broken now, I couldn’t be angry at him for waking her up.

“This is my sister.”

Snow Camp

Well, time for the Snowcamp stories. A full week later I know, but oh well.

So we left around 1 on Thursday. We stopped around 2:30ish at the gas stop. All the girls stood in line as it was a one stall bathroom. I myself grabbed a Pepsi and... some sort of candy bar I can't remember which kind. But, I do remember Jennifer getting an entire bunch of Bananas. And everybody had one. After that we drove for a few more hours. Then we stopped at Burger King to eat. Where we got several of the paper crown hats. We then attempted to crown Rick, but he refused to wear it. :-( Then, we started a game where you go around in a circle and you make up a story. Each person gets to contribute a sentence, well there was this one known as Amelia's story. Too long to go into, but in the end, She married a cross-dressing journalist, had two kids, and a monkey and there was this thing about Puking cows that would not die. Which is in part where operation Puking cow came from.

Anyway we then got to the camp, got our cabin assignment and then proceeded to the cabin. Well, we attempted to. The van didn't really want to go forward, it ended up stuck. Eventually we had to get out, and push. Then we had this little interview
